About the Event
Join us at Cyber Education 2022, where we will collectively explore the theme of collaboration between stakeholders in the cyber education ecosystem. Particularly where collaboration is cross sector, cross domain or across key stages. Motivated by an aim to "Enhance the nation's cyber skills at every level" (an objective of the Government's National Cyber Strategy 2022), this conference will bring together:
Computer science and cyber security learning and teaching practitioners (e.g., teachers, lecturers, programme creators) from schools, colleges, and universities.
Cyber practitioners from industry
Cyber education strategists from Government
Through lightning talks, live demonstrations, interactive showcases, and pre-event "single-question" surveys, Cyber Education 2022 will:
Highlight current examples of cyber education collaboration.
For example in learning, teaching, development of resources, problem solving, cyber Start Ups, and more.
Share opportunities for collaboration in cyber education.
For example, through Pi Labs for secondary schools, Resonate employability-centred projects and more.
Investigate, and report on ways to catalyse the scope and scale of collaboration in cyber education.
For example, the conference will consider the barriers to entry for increased and sustainable collaboration and how can we overcome them.
Advocate networking opportunities in cyber education.
Time has been made available for networking on the day and QR codes will be used to facilitate a rapid exchange of contact details between participants, where required.
Cyber Education 2022 is hosted by the University of Roehampton and CISSE UK.
