ICEC - Industry perspectives on growing a skilled and diverse workforce

We are joined by John Alcock and Jensen Deutrom from Fujitsu UK to give their personal views on early career selection and management and the experience of being selected and joining. The panel will examine the interplay between expectations and experience.  We'll dive into the challenges and implications for educators preparing people for the workforce - passing the baton from university to employer - and explore where responsibilities for development start and finish and what this means when recruiting for potential.  The panel will discuss how to make diversity something that is lived rather than just a slogan.  One ochallenges is how to communicate with clients about diversity and their expectations.
