About the event
In this online problem book forum, we will explore, discuss, capture and action activities derived from the following question:
How do we create and test a lesson plan for 11-12-year-olds, that introduces them to concepts of cyber security, in a way that is non-technical, intuitive, self-directed, and contextual to their generation?
During this forum, Patrick B from the NCSC's CyberFirst team will introduce the problem book domain and will share an example of some of the work that has already been undertaken in this domain.
Who should attend?
This session is open to anyone with an interest in this problem book. We recognise that any solution to this problem will require cross disciplinary knowledge and skills (e.g., creative arts, educational psychology, project management, etc.). Therefore, all are welcome (both non-technical and technical).
What are the anticipated outcomes of this session?
- To share knowledge about existing initiatives in this problem space.
- To share and discuss prospective ideas and solutions.
- To establish a small and committed team to refine a first draft of 6 lesson plans.
- To identify opportunities for piloting a lesson plan and for capturing feedback.
